More importantly, 5 days to FP1 on BBC Red Button and on http://www.bbc.co.uk

And so I think those of you that haven't signed up to the *club* formula 1 fantasy league should :

1. It's totally free

2. The winner gets a £15/€15/$15/¥2500 iTunes voucher

3. The runner up gets a £5 donation to the charity of their choice

4. You get to lord over those you beat

5. I've been in hospital for the last 5 days now and it'd put a smile on my face (sorry for the emotional punt there)

So come on ladies n gents, it's just a bit of harmless fun within the club

Apparently our COO, Otmar Szaufnauer came up with that. He was trying to convince me that I should get it. (I think he get's a small percentage each with each sale).

Saying that, he did pay for our curry the other night when we coincidentally happened to be sat on the table next to his, so maybe I should get it...

McLaren's rear wing deemed legal. Wonder how many are going to copy it.

Very interesting how it works.

It is suggested that air flows into the cockpit via a chimney, believed to be known inside the team as the 'F-vent', on the nose. The air is the channeled through the car and out of the rear end.

The air tunnel is believed, however, to have a hole in it that the drivers are able to block on the straights - using either their knees or elbows. When this hole is covered, the air pressure inside the vent is changed - and this helps stall the rear wing.

This design, allied to small slots in the rear-wing's upper plane that were the original focus of complaints from other teams, helps stall the wing at high speed - reducing drag and helping produce up to six miles per hour of extra straight-line speed.

Well taking as a poll the club league there isn't much faith in Schumi this year.

Seems most think it'll be Hamilton , alonso, Vettel and rosberg being good bets this year.

It's going to be interesting to see how the rules impact Friday practice in fact. Will people show their hands? Will any do semi race distances or just shakedown and bluffing each other?

Shame you can't record the red button stuff on sky!

Shall we just stop the championship now? :sly:

 Good one by Sutil in P1. I'm a big fan I must say of him

im loving the iphone app for F1.

See the cars on the track and how far they are actually apart and their split times as well as lap times. Great design too.

How do you see the splits? Got the app..

Any live feeds of practice?

And the red button if you hit it on BBC1 or BBC2
