wilson4347
If You can hear the motor running then power must be getting to it, so i would say it would be the motor?
Kopite
Mine was the motor i think too as I could hear it trying to retract. The mirror sometimes moved an inch or so then nothing more. Got Ganadors on there now so can't try anything to fix it

jim
My passenger side's exactly as Ro described, I can hear it trying and it moves a little bit but just won't fold. I've not been that bothered about it to take it somewhere to get looked at but I'm interested if it's a diy fix, keep us posted bud

SimonT
My driver's side mirror makes a noise and moves a little but wont fold in completely without a little help, but i was told it was the connection of the terminals or something that just need cleaning? Doh! I've got some spare mirrors in Gunmetal if needs be Steve How comes you have spares?

SimonT
Replaced the stock mirrors with some carbon Ganador ones Are they hard to remove at all?? Its just that my driver's doesnt fold properly and they both have a bit of paint missing on them which bugs the crap out of me so i was thinking of either trying to fix them and respray them or try and get hold of another set! Kopite
Once you've got the speakers off there's just 2 10mm bolts holding them in. Mine don't retract but i don't think there's any paint missing, they're probably a bit chipped though to be honest but can have a look if you like? SimonT
Can you modifiy them to retract? I know it sounds stupid but if i dont get folding ones ill have a button that doesn't do anything lol! and im a bit weird like that
Kopite
Na these are just solid, can get some with indicators on
Konrad
Don't just smash it, all of these stuff is held by few screws! Mirror can be taken off if you push bottom of it and then put wide screwdriver trough the hole on the top and pull slightly - it is sitting on 2 or 3 clips. Be carefull to not loose 2 metal balls, which are between fixed and loose part of retracting mirror. @Kopite If Steve will be interested in drivers one, I would fetch passenger one as Jola lost passenger one in small brush with some speeding idiot. Edit: Ah just noticed those are not retracting ones - oh well, need to search further...
