"Black Stig" Perry McCarthy "White Stig" "Big Stig" the Stig's American cousin "Rig Stig" the Stig's lorry driving cousin "Janet Stig Porter" the Stig's vegetarian Cousin Also the Stig's Communist cousin shown riding a motorbike wearing a red jumpsuit. If it was just one person, there would bound to be someone in the audience who would see something that weren't meant to, or even in the peripherals of the production team who would let it slip. I believe you. I can imagine Tiff is the Stig on some occasions. But if the Stig was just one person, how long would it be before someone (not necessarily your friend) blabs to a paper like The Sun, especially if they offered, say, a £2000 tongue-loosener? A secret held between 100 people where a single person blabs is not a secret anymore. If, on the other hand, someone were to go to the Sun saying that on 27th August 2007 the Stig was Tiff, then that would be less newsworthy, the Stig retains his mystery and everyone's happy.
