Callaway Motorsport
Thought it was about time to make a proper project page on here. Since me posting in the new members section, having repaired the car and have it resprayed. a few things have been done and purchased. Having an own company in the Netherlands now for a year, 2010 will be important for us to promote alot over on the continent. Exterior wise the car will be staying stock as far as rear bumper etc go, I still have a ridox replica front bumper which probably will go on for the summer. We are aiming at having not too much show, but more of a quality and proffessional engineering car to show off, and that is one of the reasons it will stay stock body as much as possible. Enough talk. Here is the car as i purchased it: http://lh6.ggpht.com/_mZNTX4tRdck/Sz5wKz8QRxI/AAAAAAAACQg/IFv3qij8J1k/s720/T04R%20Supra%20%2838%29.jpg http://lh5.ggpht.com/_mZNTX4tRdck/Sz5wLPCGJoI/AAAAAAAACQk/jYedpFci21M/T04R%20Supra%20%28148%29.jpg http://lh5.ggpht.com/_mZNTX4tRdck/Sz5wLQM1WKI/AAAAAAAACQo/PIx365UpsJ8/T04R%20Supra%20%28223%29.jpg http://lh4.ggpht.com/_mZNTX4tRdck/Sz5wLtF7o1I/AAAAAAAACQs/gP-tltgqOg4/T04R%20Supra%20%28232%29.jpg Spec sheet when purchased: 2JZ 3000cc RZ Engine HKS T04R Turbo : Garrett T67 (T04R) Good for around 600+hp Journal Bearing T4 style inlet flange with 2.5" V-band exit, A/R: 1.00 HKS Manifold HKS Wastegate with screamerpipe. Once the vehicle was back here, we gave it a good check over and went through some items to see what we had to change/remove/replace along the way. The japanese 'spaghetti' wiring was my most ennoying experience, the car had a Blitz ID3 BC and power meter, along with some other oldish gauges. But in order to get the power meter to work they would use the same sensors as some of the gauges installed. Now what the previous owner had done is not use a secondary wire, no..... They cut and rewired the sensors to the power meter and left the gauges not working. This was a real pain in the arse and I wanted to sort it quickly. However, my only solution and choice to sort it now is to strip it all out, and install all new, with in return is a good choice anyway for a promotional vehicle. http://lh3.ggpht.com/_mZNTX4tRdck/Sz5xdjiepcI/AAAAAAAACSk/-kDcp3n8BSE/s720/DSC07172.JPG Rusty screamer (to be replaced by SS in the coming few months) http://lh4.ggpht.com/_mZNTX4tRdck/Sz5xd7pGH9I/AAAAAAAACSo/sOgka4MFlPo/s720/DSC07175.JPG http://lh6.ggpht.com/_mZNTX4tRdck/Sz5xeKYD6pI/AAAAAAAACSs/23i7EmUP0Ew/s720/DSC07176.JPG http://lh3.ggpht.com/_mZNTX4tRdck/Sz5xe9GlfqI/AAAAAAAACS0/T8D4nQGE1HU/s720/DSC07577.JPG The oil relocation kit was in a crappy place for servicing. This is still an ongoing project to get it up behind the passenger/driver side headlight and the oil cooler will replace the filter in this same position. http://lh5.ggpht.com/_mZNTX4tRdck/Sz5xfMROg-I/AAAAAAAACS4/ucf0F3JNVzo/s720/DSC07578.JPG Edited January 1, 2010 by Callaway Motorsport (see edit history)

Callaway Motorsport
It makes a hell of a difference yes, just a few cans of paint. In the next few months there will be alot of changes to the suspension setup. new bushes, arms etc, all of this will be done before going to more engine upgrading. Oh yeah, heres a graph of the mapping which was done in end 2008 with the Fcon fitted: WHP http://lh6.ggpht.com/_mZNTX4tRdck/Sz6KSLh3nOI/AAAAAAAACV4/jak8lFJ_f88/s512/Dyno%20run%20Re-Worx%202.jpg Crank http://lh6.ggpht.com/_mZNTX4tRdck/Sz6KSaeeCTI/AAAAAAAACV8/gswCPjjZzbE/s512/Dyno%20run%20Re-Worx%20small%201.jpg
Callaway Motorsport
Looks better now, what are you going to do about the damaged wheels? Good question, i was thinking about it for a few months and have decided to purchase 2 new ones, powdercoat all of them and either keep them, or sell them. In any case I will be looking to purchase some other wheels with 10 fronts and 11 rears.

Callaway Motorsport
Couple of new ones and everything powdercoated will look great, nice offset on them. Yeah they will, only thing i hate about em is that they are only avail. in 9,5j max. these are +12 Offset allround have too thin tyres on front and back. fronts are 235 and rears 245. will be 265 and 295 when 2 new wheels arrive. Once that happens i will have to see how the car responds regaring grip.

jevansio
PS sorry for the hijack, maybe mods could move this to a new thread if OP wants, I knocked this up to try & understand the shape of the fender, I'm not sure that it's nay wider than a stock fender (although due to it's design there are parts that are wider) (ps it's a large image so give it time to load) I'd say they look more like this in comparison to a stock wing, anyone agree/disagree? Abz
Nice work there Jay, I'd agree with you and the amazing graph you created! The jif which you created really shows the design of the wing and it does create a much wider stance.
