bradleyh_15
well I was just driving down the road and heard a load noise come from the front drivers side so pulled over to inspect and 3 wheel studs have sheared off! so question is are they as easy to replace as the rear's? Chris Wilson
Easier, but WHY have they failed! Usual reason is wrong spigot hole diameter in the wheels and no, or poor hub adaptor rings. Poor equals plastic, badly fitting or too shallow a ring
jevansio
Or over-torqued?

Andy Blyth
It really is easy to do. Once you have the front disk off, it will be obvious how to get them out - you don't have to manouvre the stud around the handbrake mechanism on the front. Chris Wilson
I only have about 3 of them and I need to keep these, sorry. Toyota usually have them on the shelf, they fit other models as well.

SteveC
If by any chance you do have non-standard wheels fitted with an offset less than 50mm, then you may want to consider fitting longer than standard length studs to take that into account. I bet there's many driving around with only a few threads of the wheel nuts holding the wheels on!

Chris Wilson
I have seven new ones and quite a lot of used ones from a car I fitted longer studs to. The new ones would be at retail Toyota price, I will have to check on Monday. I can send them with the pads on Monday, and you can pay me later that week if it helps? Although I don't think anything is wrong with the used ones I couldn't offer any guarantee and they'd be totally at your risk. If it were me I'd buy more new ones if you need to change the lot. Just let me know before Sunday evening please.
