Just over a week to go and numbers look really great, well done everyone. The magic number is 100 cars but whatever this is a great start to the season where we can all meet and greet, be fed and watered, get free Geometry calibrations, a chance to win a set of tyres for £5, a set of coilovers for £5, the option of the rolling road, chat or go for it with Archenemy, chat to GAZ suspension or the other vendors on site.

 

Other cars

We sponsor the Whifbitz race Supra's so they will be attending if you want to chat developments and T/A

 

Our cars from BDC and ProDrift ( GarageD ) will be there if Drift is your thing, also our cars from Toyota Sprint and Mazda race series. Here's a cheeky vid of Julian from GardgeD running some impressive entry speeds> http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TIb1l23zl84&feature=player_embedded

 

Some pointers to avoid disappointment

1: The Geometry ramp has a two metre run-up with an additional metre if needed, if your was low and unsure the car will make the grade check the gallery here> http://www.wheels-inmotion.co.uk/simplegallery.php?id=5&button2=View+Gallery

 

2: On the Geometry side of things if the adjusters are seized we stop there, this is only being fair to other members waiting so if your concerned WD40 the adjusters a few days before the meet.

 

3: The GAZ coilovers are still being finalized, there will still be a charity raffle £5 a ticket but the winner might have to wait a week or two for the product, to be fair to GAZ the designer of the coilovers has cancer and recently he's been off getting treatment hence the delay, i for one wish him the best and i'm sure the lucky winner won't mind waiting a week or two.

 

4: Avon tyres have donated a set of tyres to be auctioned at £5 a ticket, terms and conditions can be seen at the start of this thread.

 

5: All monies made on the day goes to charity, receipt will follow after the meet.

 

6: As said food and refreshments are on us.

 

That's it..... Let's have an enjoyable first meet of the year and i look forward to meeting you all.

I have a debt of gratitude to the forum and indeed members that i want to repay.

 

wim has been fortunate during these miserable times as a company and i simply want to offer the best i can to say.. Thank you to the members and indeed the club.

 

Traders here i'm sorry if you think i'm treading but i'm not, i'm giving, we are full to capacity so this is a genuine thanks to the team and i hope a really enjoyable day.
