Scott
You know how in the original movie (on TV just now) he chases after the 2 rockets. He can only get to 1 in time so the other one blows up and threatens to drop the coast into the sea. Through lots of messing about he eventually gets the fault line stable. He finds out that he lost Lois in all this so he decides to spin round the world backwards reversing time. How on earth does that stop the missiles from returning to their previous position and blowing up as they did previously? I questioned this as a kid but only just remembered through seeing it on TV. Scott
It's a movie dude! Same as kirk with all those tachyon particles I know, and I swallowed that a man from Krypton could fly and crap. I just hate lazy writing. It happens a lot in movies, but it is usually the crap ones. Saying that, I'm assuming that Superman is indeed a good movie and not just a link to my childhood. Is it actually any good? Those that are old enough to have seen it for what it was..... Gav
supra_aero
Good observation Scott. I never really noticed that one. The one what got me is Asterix the Gaul. If any of you read the comics you'll know Obelix had the powers permanently as he fell in the pot of potion as a baby. So why then do they not bath every gaul in a pot as a baby so they all have the powers permanently. Silly isn't it.

RiceRocket
Saying that, I'm assuming that Superman is indeed a good movie and not just a link to my childhood. Is it actually any good? On release it was obviously a top film and has a good story and performance from Reeves but now as a visual it has declined. Seen the remake? That's the opposite IMO. also , how dose he struggle to catch one rocket and not be able to stop the second, yet shortly after he flys numerous laps of the earth in seconds , why didnt he fly that fast to catch the rockets ???
