Well ive been quiet on here for the last week and asked 4 times if i was dead...... unfortunatly no im not dead so that clears that up :) but heres the reason why....

Started off last monday, heavy snow, friends couldnt get there cars going so i spent all day running around getting people up and running, did a few mobiles for my mate whilst he was tied up at the garage you know, mr good deeds before christmas.

Woke up tuesday with a bit of a tickle in my throat, got straight on the pills to try and prevent the whole ill thing, nipped out to fit a few batteries got back and i was a bit stuffed up but nothing serious.

Woke up wednesday with a banging headache, on the pills all day and stayed in bed till bout 6pm when MARTINI called with a flat battery. Went out and got him going, came back and had something to eat and had an early night.

For the next 3 days, christmas eve, christmas day and boxing day, i was in bed full of the flu, coffing up allsorts. Hadnt slept to much over the course of them 3 days so decided to crash on the sofa on saturday. Was ok till about 2 in the morning, my sister came downstairs for a drink and heard me gasping for air, needless to say i passed out and woke up in hospital with pipes and everything stuffed down my throat, GREAT

Turns out i had caught a realy nasty chest infection. Anyway they kept me in till tuesday night when they finaly discharged me with a course of anti biotics and at last im starting to get back on my feet. Thankgod!

Talk about a final kick in the nuts before the year ends

HOO fucking RAHHH

Hell i still havnt even opened my presents!!!

EDIT: yes i cocked up the thread title... oops :D

That sounds exactly like what I had a few weeks ago. Felt like hell. I have asthma too so that definitely didn't help. I was in for Xrays and all sorts, not fun. My "flu" was in stages though, started off with the general crap feeling for 1 or 2 days then it moved into my chest and completely floored me. Didn't have any other symptoms once it hit my chest, no sore head or anything. Just couldn't breathe

hope you get well soon.

end of November I was taken ill with the flu. took about 7 days to go away and then i was hit with this chest infection. It was really bad for 2 further weeks. Now 4 weeks later I am feeling much better but still to recover 100%. The cold weather doesnt help either.

Get yourself a bottle of this. It is the chavviest alcoholic beverage in the world but it "cures what ails ya".

Full of caffine too so perks you up as well. I use it for watching the UFC, makes sure I am up at a decent hour the next day.
