Tricky-Ricky
As some might know, my prospective Supra replacement is likely to be a Nissan 350Z, so today i finally got a chance to try one, unfortunately not a long or fast test drive due to the weather and the shear traffic density. But the overall impression was very good, nice driving position, good steering feedback, felt pretty sure footed, although i would have liked to kane it some more:) the engine feels pretty strong with good torque, very similar in characteristics to N/A or single turbo Supra off boost, but i would say definitely quicker (well it should be with more power/torque than an N/A) Brakes where very strong, and very quick to bite, clutch was a bit long travel but I'm sure it can be adjusted, and surprisingly the gearbox feels very similar the the Supra, but the overall feel is unfortunately less refined than the Supra, however as i want to slow myself down and try and save a little more on petrol, i think it may be the one:) Very nearly committed to 49K worth of ex demo GTR, after drooling over it for a while:cool:

Hobgoblin
If you can afford it, get the GTR. I was fortunate enough to try one recently, and am now saving my pennies, sending the wife out on the street etc! Having owned an n/a Supra, I became conscious of having a car which was (imo) "second best", in this case to the tt of course. So then my next toy was an RX8, and I got the best spec / power one, no regrets at all there. So go for it, or you will see one, when you are out in your 350z, and be jealous as fcuk. ozz
I was probably only getting 21-22mpg out of my zed so they are thirsty, the tax is a killer as well. Loved mine, its sat outside now as my bro is here and he bought it off me.

Really, i have heard reports of anything from 20-30mpg, but i guess like anything it depends how you drive them, still got to be better than a single turbo Supra, single figures are common when used properly. As for the GTR well the wife loved it but i think a lottery win would be the only justification at present.

Tricky-Ricky
Hurry up and buy it mate Unfortunately it all hinges on the sale of my Supra, as i can't justify a second car, just don't use it enough, and as you know selling a big single turbo, highly modded Supra, without taking a kick in the nuts on the price, isn't easy these days.
