Andrew K
Can anybody help? im fitting an active spoiler to my n/a, problem is these plastic bits of trim (being pointed to) on either side wont let the spoiler reach up to where its supposed to be bolted on! What i would like to know is, do you have to mod these to let it fit up to the position it bolts in at, or am i just doing something wrong? Thanks
Guest Suprafly
Cant you just remove them?
Andrew K
Cant you just remove them? I can but it has fixing holes further back for the under tray, so if i take it completely off i can no longer fit the under tray back on. danhicks22
I seem to remember introducing those bits to a hacksaw on mine.

Does look like that needs doing, just seems strange that you need to cut and mod things to fit an oem part!
bigbloodyturbo
Take them off, it looks like they're there to support the undertray which will probably be different to the active spoiler undertray. Looking at the pics they are right where you want to mount the AS brackets.
Guest MR2dan
Sorry to Hijack this thread, but does anyone know what size and thread pitch the bolts are for insatalling the AS brackets to the chassis legs?

Sakey
I just cut them for mine not had any problems. There's a guide knocking about on the web which shows where to cut them.
