jackso11
Got my decat pipes and need them fitting, anyone in east london/essex area I can bring it to to get it done? I was going to do it myself but couldn't get to my mates house with a pit over xmas and won't be able to go there for months now (up north ). I have both decats and a restrictor ring to fit. Abz
anyone got a guess as the pauls price for this? I had mine fitted by Paul, but they supplied all the parts. They are not cheap compared to local garages but that's what you pay for specialist knowledge. Give Paul a call up to get a quote: 020 8367 1286
jackso11
I don't really want any specialist knowledge, I would do it myself if I had a ramp. Its only 8 bolts on and off. I have already fitted everything else for BPU, just need the pipes now. Christmas = fuel pump, FCD, Iridium plugs, HKS boost guage, blue dash conversion, new auto gear knob....all fitted at last. Just need the pipes putting on but haven't got a wa of getting under the car.

They are based in Redbridge, which I believe is in Essex. http://www.elitedirect.com/index.html
Branners
I think Paul generally quotes about an hour of labour to do the work. All depends how corroded the nuts and bolts are on the exhaust and cats. The manifold bolts in particular are a bugger so a full decat may take a little longer. Give Paul a shout and see what he can do.

jackso11
Fith Gear? No you should really keep it in park with the hand brake on when you are on a lift.

If you want to leave it there then I would want it more secure. For a simple job like mine it should be good too. Even a job like a cambelt change, if you haven't done it before I reckon you could do it in 4-5 hours, which is £100. Plus you learn more about your car along the way. Abz
Think that is brilliant idea, I've book marked it and will use it in warmer weather so then I can learn more about my car!

I need the bolts and studs from the down-pipe to the first cat.
