adnanshah247
i have a buyer who is interested in buying my gearbox, now i told him the price i wanted (cheap as it is) and i have now been told that if shipping is including he'll take it. happy days but not for long, if he were in the uk i would have dropped him it myself due to the size and weight etc but hes in Germany! i predicted the weight to be around 300kgs. too much? did a quote on dhl my usual couriers and got a price of £900 for delivery! lol now what do i do? i obvioulsy cant afford to include the shipping with the gearbox and will speak to the potential buyer but surely i can find a cheaper alternative?! help? anybody?! SupraHuman
Check with DSV Road LTD.They only charge pr euro pallet. I.E a pallet from Jersey to the UK is about £90. They are the biggest haulage company in Europe with branches in every country.
dude
We paid £135 to get a box to finland, it does not go on weight it goes on size which gives a volumetric weight, put it on the smallest poss pallet and measure that, I only paid $500 to ship a box from the US.
