Holden1989
Very hard to explain, try and stay with me..... So everyime i need to access the back seats i pull the lever on the side of the seat, however it makes the bottom seat piece slide forward, great for accessibility yes mr toyota, apart from when i push the back piece back to upward position the bottom piece stays shunted forward Make sense? Are my seats broken? i practically have to break both my legs to get back into the car......... its starting to seriously annoy me, its impossible to get into the car gracefully
Meko
not sure if mine does this as i don't go in through my door for the back seats.. i use the passenger seat for that. It does exactly the same in my mates Corolla though so it could be a standard 'feature'

Guigsy
civics do this. iirc i think its a jap thing. i cant remember as my last car i think didnt go backwards and forwards. you pressed the lever and the back of the seat moved. to make it slide you had to pull the thing at the front of the seat. i dont recall what my uk spec electric ones did. the same i think. but my recaros just fold forward
Branners
Passenger seat does indeed slide forward to ease access to the rear. The driver seat shouldn't do that though, it will tilt forwards but does not slide forwards automatically.

Its extremely annoying
Chewie
I agree with Branners. It's not exactly the end of the world.
Branners
sounds like the drivers seat is broken somehow. Might need a new seat but it is possible there is a clip somewhere under the seat that may have snapped. Never seen a supra have that problem before so not sure what it could be. Fitz
Like Branners said the drivers side won't slide automatically. The passenger side should slide back aslong as the seat is still tilted forward, you have to hold it tilted though.
Holden1989
I agree with Branners. It's not exactly the end of the world. Of course its not, however when you are using the car everyday and constantly needing access to the backseat and have legs longer than 28inchs, its extremely annoying Will look under the seat, thanks Branners
