imi
Went to Knightsbridge on Boxing day to check out the sales, walked into Harrods and couldn't believe it - it was pandemonium there was no room to walk, people absolutely everywhere, each carrying not 1 or two but 3-4 bags full of goods. Spoke to my friends who hit the sales in other areas, Lakeside, Bluewater, Gallions Reach, Oxford street and they reported similar experiences. And we thought we were going through a credit crunch.....dont think anyone has learnt anything. http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/business/8432144.stm

Point is the amount of goods the majority were buying Point is that I havent ever seen it as busy as this before. Maybe this behaviour is localised to London
