pistonbroke
I bought a set of genuin facelift indicators off Paul whiffen about 6 months ago. They were fitted when Supraloopy did my car makeover. Yesterday however when cleaning her, I noticed one of them had condensation in the lense where the sidelight is. Has anyone else had this issue?, is it normal,? or does it need replacing?

Ricky49
I had this aswell. As my car isn't facelift model there was no lamp in the side light bit of the indicator. Once LeeP wired up the side lights on the indicator to the side lights of the headlights and put a lamp in problem solved. With no lamp in moisture just got through. pistonbroke
I have replaced the normal bulbs with LED's, so they emit little to no heat. Therefore, whatever moisture is in there is not being evaporated. I've taken the bulb holder out to let the air get to it and get rid of the moisture while the car is parked in my garage. Hopefully it will clear, and I'll do the vaseline thing. Cheers guys.
martini
I had this issue because I changed bulbs during quite a wet day. Now the outside air is less humid than inside, and the temperatures are colder; I've got condensation. I'll dry it out sometime before the spring and re-fit it.
