Guest MoeBlunt
Sounds like the weather has taken its toll on your dish mate! Give sky a ring and they will send a technician down to sort it out mate, most probably been budged out of its place by the wind or the odd pigeon! trebor69
Don't bother ringing up dude , the customer servicr is atrocious , i've spent 30 , 40 and 50 minutes at a time on there over the years , sometimes ringing 4 and 5 times a day only to be passed around their automated service and kept on hold and then eventually somebody picks the phone up off the reciever on their end and then puts it straight back down ......... it really winds you up after a while . Thankfully though as scotty says , the service is fine in derbyshire !

AntD
I had a similar problem for months.Yes,it is possible that some channels might still work when your setup is faulty. The technician explained this to me when he sorted out my setup. I tried to call Sky two or three times in the evening after work, but they were too busy.So when I took a day off work,I called them about 11ish in the morning as I thought they might not be that busy.I told the customer services advisor very calmly that I've had it with Sky and wanted to cancel my subscription.I did this after I found this link on Google http://www.weeklygripe.co.uk/a342.asp .I was ready to quit Sky anyway, but thought I'd give it a try.Within a week I had a brand new free SkyHD box and dish.I was chuffed as I've had Sky for years and have never taken out an extended warranty after the first 12 months.I know they might deal differently with everyone calling up,but I reckon its worth trying what I did.If your Sky setup is under 12months old, AFAIK they repair/change equipment for free. SatSport
Possible the tuner in the box is going faulty, this can affect certain frequencies only - can you enter the `service` menu and check the signal bars? Can you grab a friends box to try? Other possibilities - water ingress into cable at lnb, lnb itself starting to fail, dish slightly off, needs realigned start first with changing over to a known good box.....
