dukenukem
Are you referrng to the rev counter? I changed my bulbs to LED's. There's 3 big bulbs and one smaller one if I remember rightly. You can change these straight for (3) 194 refractor LEDs and (1) 37 invert LED, these fit straight into the bulb holders. The refractor 194's have 4 LEDs pointing out in a square and are too wide to put in through the back of the rev counter though, so you will have to take it all apart and put them in from the front. They come in lots of different colours and are probably a bit brighter than the normal bulbs. Check Ebay.

Foxbuster
The leds are T5 and T4.2 fittings
pistonbroke
The stock bulbs have condom things over them for some reason, take them off and it makes them much brighter. Here are a couple of pics to show the difference - my dials are indiglo dials so the bulbs have no effect on them, but the needles are still illuminated by the bulbs, and you can see how much brighter they are after removing the condoms BEFORE AFTER

Now I know why I can't see my needles properly at night. So, remove condom and re-insert old removed bulb. Thanks for that!
