suprasize
Is it me... or does anyone else agree with me thinking Dr Who really is just terrible? Seems very under budget with not very good acting, really silly characters and really poor effects... I dont know, maybe its just me? Chris Wilson
I had always considered Dr. Who as a series for the under 15's, but whatever floats your boat
suprasize
I had always considered Dr. Who as a series for the under 15's, but whatever floats your boat ah thats probably why.. I think with these evenings being dark early, its made my body clock go coo-coo! Me thinking its on alot later meaning its a bit more meant for older people... (I feel im digging myself a hole here..) I duno, still, pretty poor series
Chris Wilson
I used to love it when I was a nipper, especially the Daleks, can't say I have seen an episode for years and years though. Jon Pertwee was the last Dr. I recall, Have they had a black homosexual one yet?

Rob
thats another thing, everyone was like "Oh the dareks are really scarey.." I never watched the older ones when i was younger, but in the newer Dr Who series, they are washing machines... When that first Dalek appeared in the Ecclestone ones, I damn nearly shat myself. My wife will testify I was staring wide-eyed at the screen saying "it's...it's a ...dalek!!!!"
jim
My 7 year old is a Dr Who nut too, have to say I enjoy sitting down to watch it with him, it's a good show. Disappointing tonight though, the Christmas one is usually magic but this one wasn't great, maybe they've saved it all for next week's. Digsy
Oh c'mon. Dr. Who is and always has been a kids' show. Doesn't stop me switching part of my brain off, ignoring the budget CGI and foam rubber effects and enjoying it, though. Not all SciFi can be Avatar or 2001. Compared to I'mAnX-FactorCelebrityInTheJungleOnIce, give me Dr.Who any day! I agree the Christmas episode was verrrry slow, though.
suprasize
Yeah I suppose anything is more bareable than ImAnX-FactorCelebrityInTheJungleOnIce. If only every SciFi was Avatar quality... mind blowing!
Westcoaster
Damn those wheelchair friendly accesses to buildings, soon only the top floor of an old Council block of flats will be Dalek safe! Always thought that the "new" Dr Who was crap, but then it was crap when I was a kid too!
