Mike
I can't stand Michael McIntyre.. we watched his DVD yesterday and it was terrible. He just states the obvious and people fall about laughing.. he doesn't even seem to have a funny angle on anything. Izzard used to do it for me.. but has gone off the boil a bit lately (I haven't watched 'Stripped' yet). Russell Brand is probably the only one I'd go out of the way to see. Frankie Boyle is just a lazy comedy. I can't stand him either. Is it me or is comedy either really mild (Mock The Week etc.) or really offensive, yet unfunny? No-one seems to be doing anything new. I've seen Andy Parsons live a few times and he's excellent. Also Stephen K Amos
Scott
To the Op - Bit restricted on options here, is that all the comedians you know? Would have been better to start a thread just asking who the favourites were rather than a limited poll. At the moment I am liking Frankie Boyle, Joe Heenan, Joe Rooney and I'm looking to Peter Kay on his new tour.
Aero-M
How about Sean Lock? Him and Al Murray are very funny imo.
