ilicos
170,000 km = 110,000 miles. Maybe this is what they mean?

Stan
The thing I don't get with clocked cars, surely there are old MOTs showing the mileages on them? Especially as the pistonheads add says a load of MOTs to be included with the documents
TopgunTT
It must be very easy to clock a car when you convert it from km to miles.
AlexJames
I noticed that just driving my supe with the plug not in its harness in the back of the Odo, not only de-restricted it, but the miles didnt clock up either... easy... but that was my SZ, not the twin... Supraudi
Makes me wonder whether I should buy a Supra from anywhere else other than from other members and Jurgen.
hadyn
Isnt it also dead easy to change the mileage on a Supra. Say if you had a Supra with 2000000 million miles on, dont you just swap it the digital odo display thing in the dash for an odo that is displaying say 70k miles?? Is that true of all NA Surpas or just the way yours was wired?
TopgunTT
Glad mine still is in km

I bought off the classifieds and I would entertain that, or Jurgen and thats about it for me. I wouldnt look anywhere else but thats my personal choice. nemo_arta
i looked at 14 supra's before the 1 i bought. i got mine off an old boy who had 3 supra's.. mine (jza80 n/a) an electric orange 1 (n/a manual) and a midnight blue (tt manual).. he must of been about 70? but the car was genuine.. he didnt lie to me for a second.. when i asked to see it he was honest and said it needs work as its the "runt" of the family.. i felt sorry for him!! (the car not the old man ) he wanted a quick sale, long mot long tax, door cards slightly marked, suspension on its way out and 70k miles with all jap paperwork and all service history. i offered 2k cash and he called me insaine and taking the p*ss, but when i said i would put it how he should be.. the guy said ok.. but only cos im rich and dont need the car.. or the money all the bits that need work dont bother me, car was standard when i got him, and no matter what supra i bought i was always gonna put tein suspension on it, so that dont bother me.. just wish i had the cash to do it already as my car drives like a bouncy castle!
