edinlexusV8
Guys you are all doing an amazing job esp Preston and John. Coming to my car, I dont think it can make it to the show. I wanted to get a quick spray done on the car but never managed to get it done as I was stuck with some urgent business. Also my car is mostly stock in terms of power. I dont think it would look good for the MKIV club to put my car with all your supes. Probably it will be ready for next year. If I bring my car this year all you can hear is the grunt of a V8 engine. So let me know what you guys think... whether it should be on the stand with other supras or not. (Just to remind you the MKIV supra is made totally from the ground up on a soarer chassis and subframes) The following are the upgrades I have done on the car until now and the ones completed dont improve the performance but only reliability and handling. Here goes the list of upgrades/mods I have done on the car until now: -------------------------------------------------------------------- 2.5" high performance alloy radiator with auto cooler RUSH headers + manifold gasket New engine mounts 2.5” high flow custom stainless steel exhaust + Magna Flow boxes and 4” tail pipes Projector headlights (again rebuild them in UK spec) and altezza tail lights with fog light conversion 60W HID Conversion Ultralite wheels 18" + new 452 Falken tyres all round TEIN Flex Coilovers V2.0 + EDFC (Electronic Damping Force Controller) Adaptronic Standalone ECU + Loom 97 MKIV Torsen Diff (+ rebuild) Supra TT full brakes upgrade (all new parts including callipers) + Goodridge Brakelines EBC Yellow Stuff brake pads + EBC Drilled and grooved discs Iridium IR24 spark plugs + Nology Hot wires USA (http://www.nology.com/hotwork.html) Timing belt replaced along with new pulleys Water Pump Replaced Ignition Coils and Distributor rotors replaced Digital Dash Upgraded 7” Double Din DVD player with DVB-T, IPod, MP3, Bluetooth, IGO Sat nav etc. Air Con condenser + Drier replaced + Re-gassed All bushes replaces (front and back including anti roll bar and rear subframe bushes) Rear Tie and Toe Control Arms replaced with megan racing adjustable arms from US New 145amp alternator Upgrade Bosch S4 battery 760 Amps Full Explosion body kit from Japan BFI + New Air Filter + Oil filter Replaced brake pipes Items I already bought and still to go on the car: --------------------------------------------------------- Soarer R154 5- Speed Gearbox with Remote shifter 1UZ adaptation Kit C’s Short Shift gear stick TRD gear knob Organic Dual Clutch + Flywheel MKIV Mater Cylinder + Pedal assembly Whipple 2.3L Twin Screw Supercharger 140 AX Bullet Manifold + Yell Terra Rear Intake
mustang
Mate, don't be silly! Your car looks great and would be missed if you're not there having seen that post. Everyone mods their car for different reasons, if my spec sheet had only mods I'd done there would be 1! Thats Do-Luck brake lines, haha I'll do you a sheet when I get home from work... Geo
Liam/Raz Where do you fancy meeting???
James
Me perhaps being overly picky would have also pointed out Marc's 340 (341.5 infact ) not being at the wheels, and also, just to be perfect about it - on Geo's spec, Ridox only has 1 d, so it isn't "Riddox". That's being arsey though
raz
hey Geo/Liam I dont mind were we meet up, I stay 5 mins away from Braehead, Liam where would you prefer to meet up ?? If we meet up at braehead we could get the motorway straight up to edingbrough that way or i dont mind driving down to meet yous.

James
For continuity - put that l18msy's spec says it is a W58 gearbox the same as Marc's. Is your TRD speedo 320MPH or KPH?! For Marc's spec, the colour is spelt "Chilli Red". For Raz, Bomex has only one "o". Think that's the lot!

SupraRider
Ok guys, looks like we've got the spec sheets sorted. John, can you issue it to us on the day? just want to put in a reminder from my previous posts about meeting up. This is what will happen: Aberdeen folks meet - 5.00am (Marc & DriftBear) meet me - 5.15am (SupraRider) journey to dundee to meet John - 6.45am (mustang) convoy together to Edinburgh, Esso Petrol Station - 7.45am (Geo, Raz & Edinlexus) Meet 7.45am then make our way to Gate 6 by 8.15am (I'm sure there will be loads of cars queuing already). heads up guys, I've just consulted with the organisers about our plans to reach by 7.45am with the hope to wash our cars down before settling into our positions and he said NO, won't be able to accommodate us to do that. He said we will need to be there by 7am if that we need to give it a quick wash down. Otherwise we will have to set our cars the way it is as there will be alot of cars moving in at that time and cannot afford to have wet cars in the stands. So I suggest maybe you guys from Edinburgh / Glasgow to sort out your own washing down before we meet. Aberdeen folks, maybe we should find a garage close enough before edinburgh to wash it down and then just polishing when we get inside? Bring a Bucket, with bottled water to give the car a wash if neeed, means you can wipe it down inside etc.
