Gaz6002
Amidst the hype of the ultra-exclusive LFA and the controversy surrounding the 'Toyobaru' FT-86 lightweight coupe, us Supra fans have missed something fairly significant. Toyota is building a new Supra - or so the rumours say. The Japanese automotive giant has an eye on Le Mans GT1 racing, and will be taking a Supra to France. It's a hybrid model, but is based on the mkiv shape and is set to go racing in 2012. We're looking at 473bhp from a V8, coupled with three electric motors. One in the back and two powering the front wheels. The car is a re-invention of the Supra HV-R concept which raced in the Tokkachi 24 hour race two years ago. Autoblog has some pictures here. Thorin
The HR-V was based on the MK4. This is on about the Toyota FT-HS isn't it? Nothing new.

It's a redesign of the HR-V, with GT1 spec and hybrid power. It's not finished yet, so yes, it's going to be new when it's done.

AndyT
They don't have to do a lot to market a new Supra shape. Newly positioned lights, lose the ledge on the ass and you're about done really. They are the only "aging" points i've found.
