pistonbroke
2004 UK 350z. I went to look round it today with him. Very tidy standard unmolested car. He got it for £9.5k. Now he's in the market for some wheels. Anyone got any good suggestions for him?
supracars
rays do nice wheels for the zeds
jevansio
There is a stock wheel for the z made by Rays, they have 3 dimple in each spoke & look a bit like TE37s, stunning wheel, I thought I saw Ernie selling some on ebay a while back, perfect fitment,
pistonbroke
The rays are nice, but due to them being an option from the factory, there's a few of them about. My dad wants to make the car stand out from the crowd a little.

jevansio
What sort of wheels does he like? Dish or motorsport?
miko_supra
Axis do some pretty nice wheels. I think the z pulls off a dished rim well with its big rear arches. http://www.axiswheels.com/wheels.php http://www.axiswheels.com/images/project/pro_cars/AXIS_350ZTURBO.jpg
ozz
Really nice car, very good price as well - whats the mileage? Get yourself over http://www.350z-uk.com, great site.
AndyT
Budget wise Rotas over at driftworks would be a good bet. Best wheels... CCW, Centreline, iForge, Vossen (think) Image do custom fitment. Old style wheels though.

Septic
I'm still confused about whether to get a 350z or Supra. Its driving me up the wall. Most likely though, I'm going for the Supra because although I prefer the Z's looks, going down the FI route in a Zed is extremely expensive and the internals of the Supra are far superior. Still, try and convince your dad to let you have a go once in a while
pistonbroke
What sort of wheels does he like? Dish or motorsport? He like wheels that compliment the car.....stupid answer I know, but he appreciates a tastefully modded car that looks good. Wheels can make or break a car, so he's keen to get it right. He loves my supra, so the benchmark is pretty high. Axis do some pretty nice wheels. Really nice car, very good price as well - whats the mileage? Get yourself over http://www.350z-uk.com, great site. Its got just under 60k I think, so about average miles for the year. I've been a member on that site for a while,( a moment of madness almost saw me getting a zed instead of the supra ) so he's communicating through me at the moment Budget wise Rotas over at driftworks would be a good bet. Best wheels... CCW, Centreline, iForge, Vossen (think) Image do custom fitment. Old style wheels though. I've been thinking the Rotas too, the dished GTR's look very cool on the zed, though I've been reading about potential problems clearing the brembos on the front. Nice looking motor your Dads got there. Cheers dude. I'm still confused about whether to get a 350z or Supra. Its driving me up the wall. Still, try and convince your dad to let you have a go once in a while The zed is a nice car, but it's not really comparetive to the supra. If you're after performance, then there is only one conclusion. I'll not be harrassing my dad to let me drive the zed, otherwise he'll want to drive the supra.......and that aint happening

In that case, the ones Mike posted look good, the 350 needs a lip on the rear,
Chiefgroover
I have rays, with R888's for sale. 19" arch fillers will kill the cars performace in a straight line, so stick with 18's unless you want to be ssslloowwww. I had Volk 19" for 2 days, costly learning curve that was. The rays with R888's save over 5kg per corner, and that makes a noticable difference on the road. supraturbochris
very nice matey, my friend is looking at buying the nismo tuned 350z after the new year, in that bayside blue colour
pistonbroke
They were an expensive option on all 350Z's. Cheers mate, my dad doesn't like em. He's not interested in performance TBH (hence why he bought a Z ). I think he's settled on some Rota Torque Drifts having had a play around with Forza 3, juts need to find out whether they fit over the brembos
