SIMON LC
Time of year when new battery is required.Went into Halfrauds today and they wanted nearly £80 for a crap battery that you had to put the small diameter terminal adaptors onto.Anybody know anyone cheaper and without having to put those stupid terminal adaptors on? AndyT
Several members here have Halfrauds batteries. 3 year warranty. Disconnect mine for 4 months at a time. Car fires first time on connecting it back up. You could pay 200 quid plus on yellow tops and such but £80 is the going rate.

merckx
Halfords sell the one which has standard size terminals too. It's not particularly cheap but they give a good no quibble warranty.

Paul
I used these a few weeks ago for a battery for our Mazda: http://www.carbatteriesonline.co.uk/index.php Good prices, free delivery, decent company however let down a little by their courier, took a week to arrive I got a bosch S4 for the Mazda and also have one of these in the Supra. Great battery with a decent CC. I've also had a Toyota one for the Supra but that wasn't brilliant. The Bosch S4's also come with a 4yr Guarantee. Edit: BTW, Bosch batteries are made by 'Varta' ....a good brand imo. Edited December 20, 2009 by Paul (see edit history)

Lude
battery is a battery, jsut swap the terminals over? ive got the battery from a ford escort on my Fairlady Z.
Abz
Mine is from Halfords, the terminals were the same & fitted in a matter of minutes. Did cost me £80 but this means 3 years of hassle free battery and plus the batteries crank is good!
