Kit to remove the stock TT oil cooler?

Hey All,

Are there any kits available or a part list of what's needed to remove the stock oil cooler, when I strip the inlet side down I will be junking the cooler as I already have a front mount oil cooler.

Does the NA possibly use an adapter with the oil cooler part on it?

Thanks

The only thing I would say though is the stock one is a heater as well as a cooler. It helps the oil get up to temperature quicker.

If you want to do it though there is an adapter you can by from ford which allows the filter to bolt straight on to the block. The info is on the supraforums some where.

Actually I think I recall reading about this is Ryans track car thread

Ill be doing this with my new engine. i was going to use the N/A's oil filter pick up as it doesnt have a stock oil cooler and an external oil cooler sandwich plate with a thermostat in. I think paul whifin sells them.

That sounds ideal as I would need maintain my current oil cooler setup

Phil we just use the NA filter brackets and run the old oil heater/cooler water line straight to the block, just remember to renew the gasket on the housing pn 90301-68005 ;)

Is that part number for the ;arge rubber o-ring between the block and filter bracket mate.
