dude
The radio and TV make it all sound worse I left for work at 6.25 and there was a lot of snow, the roads however were just wet but the idiots driving on them is what makes it dangerous, 40 mile trip in took 5 mins longer, the estate where afr is though is hilarious not been gritted and cant even get in the gate!!!! No doubt the workforce will be round soon and want to do something similar to last year:D

probrox
I'm in between Ipswich and Colchester. We've had about 4-5 inches here overnight. I took the company car out last night at about ten because one of my mates had gone off the road. It took 50 minutes to drive 2 miles, but that included having to get pulled up a hill by a 4x4. Missile
Got caught out in the supra last night, It just started, so i made a bee line for home. Had to get pushed by some very kind people up a hill. They were pushing the whole car via the spoiler:taped::taped:. Wanted to say something, But such a kind act made me let them off. Thankfully its all good:)

Bobbeh
Saw this in a ditch around our way the other night, it was a big VW Toureg or sommat similar, 4WD - just goes to show its irrelevant if you hit ice or drive badly in the conditions I guess. paul mac
holy crap on christmas tree batman i have been looking at all this snow everywhere on the news and scoffing, living next to Morecambe bay we have quite a unique micro climate with the Lake district to the north the Pennines to the east and the Irish sea to the west, we NEVER get snow, however its sneaked in through the unprotected southern back door (curse you southerners ) at the moment its about 6" deep and its still coming down, i will sacrifice myself tommorow and trudge to the power plant so you lot can have the electrickery to surf the web, if i dont return its been nice knowing you all

Ricky49
I have a 300 mile drive to Preston tonight so I'm at my parents for Xmas. Apparently it's quite bad around the north west and some of the way up M40, M6 areas.
