Animal
Yeah - in Poland. And will they actually be sharing the same stage or is it more a case of 'they will be playing the same festival over a 3-day period'? Frankly, this is about 20 years too late - if it had happened around 1990, then it would have been awesome. Now, Metallica (Lars) can't play any of their proper material for shit, Megadave is a bible-bashing nut with a band of session musicians. Anthrax should be pretty good now they've got Bush back, although it'll never beat Beladonna-era Anthrax. Slayer are the only band to still have that fire, especially now they've got Lombardo back behind them (and I'm seeing them in March anyway. Even better, how about a tour with the REAL thrash bands - Slayer, Exodus, Testament, Overkill and Death Angel would be a MUCH better bill IMO. Maybe this means there's more of a chance of a "Clash ot the Titans II" tour in the future, but to be honest, I'd rather see some of the newer Thrash bands do a tour. Something like Evile, Gama Bomb, Municipal Waste, Mutant and Seregon, maybe.
Mike
I love hearing Animal chatting about metal It's sounds like a mixture of football and religion I'd like to be backstage to pick up any gems of wisdom between Mustaine and Lars CKoXcJaylAo

Bobbeh
This would be good, but Megadeth have gone off the boil. I was never a huge fan of Anthrax tbh. For me Id have loved a Slayer, Metallica, Pantera and White Zombie would have been cool (in their Primes)
spidermonkey
replace Megadeth with Sepultura and I would be interested

For me Id have loved a Slayer, Metallica, Pantera and White Zombie would have been cool (in their Primes) Seen all of those (not at the same gig, obviously) and they were all awesome. Come to think of it, weren't all four of them at one of the Donington events years back? One of the years that Metallica headlined? Edit: 1995 - Pantera weren't on that list, but 3 of 4 is pretty good! Machine Head would have more than made up for it!

I saw 3 of that 4 listed at Donignton in 1995.. Metically Headlined, Slayer and White Zombie, but no Pantera, I never saw them live and am gutted that I didnt.
