Dave17
Homewatch haahaha, incase some steals your home when you aren't looking?
Tourniquet
I got the RAC Trackstar on the Supra which I pulled out of my previous car...and the one before that actually. It's the mutts imo. If the car moves an inch without my say so i.e lifted or pushed, it lets the satellites know who let the control room know who call me to see if it's allowed to. If they can't get hold of me they have a second contact and if still no joy the police are informed and they go get it and bring it back. Apparently they like these because it almost always guarantees arrests which looks good for their figures.

devan
Dont you have to pay a monthly/yearly charge for a tracker to keep it active? Is it cheap/expensive?
Lbm
Out of interest, with lower values for Supra these days, I doubt Trackers will reduce your insurance premiums at all. Perhaps more of a piece of mind thing? On a nice £70,000 porka though, I guess it helps. Edit: Jazz, is this for your large inflatable tent? edge
Alot of the good ones fit dummies that will seem like the real deal to many of us and have the real tracker hidden that the owner dont even know where its fitted. Alot of the cars the other half has found have had these. Thief thinks he has found tracker and put down drain. Police track drain. Police then ring tracking company who tell police that car is at xxxxxx road etc.
Tourniquet
There were a couple of payment options, I forget what they all are now but I paid bout £900 which was the most expensive of the lot but gave me the tracker for life with no monthly subscriptions or anything like that plus I can take it from car to car as i said, ring up for spot checks etc and no I dont have a clue where it is lol. It gave me discounts at first but I wouldnt know if it still applied now, I only pay £600 for my single all fully declared n stuff so maybe. I got it for piece of mind myself, the insurance discount would have been a bonus for me. I would say don't advertise you have a tracker though i.e a sticker on the car. I think it's better the first thing the c**t...sorry thief knows about it is when either a) the bat connects with the side of his face or b) the blue lights in the mirror tell him he's stuffed
devan
I would get a tracker also for piece of mind, rather than insurance costs.
