SupraStar 3000
Anyone refurbished their headlights and painted the chrome rings white? Thinking of doing mine like that and could do with some pics thanks
hoff
I think Havard has had something similar:)
jackso11
I thought about it so am interested to see how this looks too. Mine are all black at the moment.
Mike
You might be in danger of going too far with the white thing here dude... I think you need a lot of photo shop time before you do this I'm erring on the side of it will look good, but I would check first
jevansio
I don't think I've seen any headlights refurbed which are an improvement over the stock facelift look, dark inners/chrome rings. If I get mine done I'd rather just get the ring re-chromed
add heywood
The rings in my headlights have been done white, I think it goes really well on a white car
AndyT
Indeed H does have white rings.

Matt H
oww I like that very much! Cheers people I think that looks smart on a white car Nice bit of chrome facelift would look much better Ed, don't you think?
jevansio
who can re-chrome the ring though? its plastic Pretty sure I've seen places (esp looking through classic car & bike mags) that can apply a chroming to plastic bits
supraspanner
I have done the same kind of thing with mine to match the car and the red ring on the wheels. I think it looks great and is something different. I still have a set of headlight inserts with the backs painted black and the chrome rings and have to agree with others that this also looks really good. Pic attached
j_jza80
Have you thought about doing the rings in either satin or gloss silver rather than chrome? Would look a bit more subtle and would probably be a better finish than imitation chrome.

jim
I know it's not keeping with the US style that you're aiming for Ed, but I always thought that UK headlights suited a white Supra. Any other colour and I'd have said facelift are better.
