chrisrigpig
OK, Deep breath, I’m thinking of trying some thing different, so testing the water with a view to selling, I have owned this car for the past 4 years, in that 4 years the car has covered only 10k miles, it’s never been “off the road” but I work away from home and only used on the nicest dry days, hence the little use. In this time I have spent +/- £4,000 and maintained it regardless of cost, I can list some thinks from memory but sure I’ve missed as much again:- 1993 Black UK spec 165,000 miles, engine is sound, no smoke and pulls like a train. Engine is standard with no modifications Serviced by Toyota past 4years, prior to that patchy history. £1500 Re-spray in original Black (glass out) New glass head lights New leather interior in original cream Fuel lines Brake pipes Diff cooler and plumbing Diff oil seals Discs Callipers Timing belt Wheels & tyres (still as new) 10” rears (Lexus GS sport) Speed sensors for active spoiler Digital clock with outside temp Various switches replaced Original head unit with x6 CD changer Starter motor Cobra total closure alarm (Bridge 4100) Bonnet release cables and catch's New Bonnet scoop (27 parts) original damaged while being removed for paint. New aerial New rear shocks The only non standard items are:- Wheels Front grill Oil filler cap High level brake light That’s it, looking for £8500, any less and my next project will be out of reach and I’ll keep her, best be quick if you’re interested the next dry day I’ll be out in her, and you all know I’ll change my mind. More Pictures in my album.

ellis
Doubtful that you have. Give it a bit of time, it is very nearly Christmas! Put it on Pistonheads and wait for a call from Europe! You may find you've underpriced it for them!

chrisrigpig
As a project for me it was just about finished, the few bits still on my "To Do" list are:- 1. Underside of car blasted and re-under sealed (£350) wanted but not needed. 2. Engine bay clean up and some deatailing work, (Nothing OTT) 3. End cap needed for drivers top door seal. 4. Replace Oil filler cap with original. After that just drive it, clean it, enjoy it and lots of TLC

I know it's the wrong time of year to try and sell, but I'd rather it went to a club member so I'll give it until mid January before trying Pistonheads. Cheers, All the best guy's Chris. The Raven
Hmm, seems mine sold at the right time. that said with only 90k on the clock i think maybe i let it go a bit cheap. Love a black supra, and the wheels

Interior looks great too with no rips on the bolster etc. Good luck with the sale, suprised its still here to be honest. For being honest 8500 is for me the price of a uk spec with 90 000 miles. Its not an offence its just the way i see the market price. But this supra is very nice:) Good luck with the sale

SUPRALAND
No doubt about it: interior and paint in perfect condition. Its just the mileage that COULD scare some potential buyers.

A language thing I guess, You mean COULD scare potential buyers not SHOULD, The engine is running fine, no smoke or rattles pulls hard, very hard and compression is fine according to Toyota
Ricky49
Good luck with the sale. The mileage shouldn't be a problem as they are good for a few 100,000 miles.
chrisrigpig
If anyone is interested I'll knock off £1000 if I keep the wheels & tyres, so if you have a set of stock 17's you can swap over on collection you'll get it a grand cheaper. my next project is a Lexus so I'd like to keep the wheels for that. chrisrigpig
I have now found what I'd like to be my next project and would like to get started so may be open to offers, remembering I want to keep the wheels. Nothing silly guy's. Chris
jevansio
For the price of a set of stock wheels I'd buy them yourself & stick them on, you need to give new owners no reasons not to look at the car, and having to supply your own wheels is a bit of a put off IMHO
chrisrigpig
Yes point taken I'll be on the look out for set of stock wheels, but if I get the asking price the wheels will stay on the car.
