AndyT
Never buy a halfords battery, i have gone through 3 now. 2 in 6 months. The other lasted 6 months before that Mine's been going for two years now. That's after a complete discharge once as well. I didn't even re-charge it properly, just drove around for 10 miles. I take the leads off for four months come back and put 'em back on. Car fires first time. Quality must have gone to cack lately.

Lbm
I've bought 3 batterys iirc, all from Halfords for the Supe over the last 9 years. No problems to report. Edit: I have an immobiliser too and it has gone for up to 4 weeks without being driven and still starts.
Wez
I never had problems with halfrauds batteries either Although when the battery died on the NA I couldnt be bothered to change the wiring, halfrauds didnt have a suitable small post battery so I picked one up from All Parts, turned out All Parts stocked the same make battery as my original unit
dr_jekyll
halfords did change the company that manifactures ther batteries about 18 months ago, my halfrauds battery lasts about 4 days if i leave the car standing , and my car has no gadgits or gizmos
Abz
I brought mine from Halfords...it cost me about £76 if IIRC. Been about 7 months since I brought it and still going strong with no lose of power. Got 3 years warrenty with the battery as well. TBH I thought it might not be that good but I needed a battery quickly as the one in the car was dead!

I left mine for 2 weeks while I went to Egypt & I didn't expect it to start first time... but it did with bundles of life!
keron
ive never had problems with them either? had tons of them too. think 1 went on me but that was my own fault. never drove the car! started it to move it in and out the garage! killed it, bt again my fault, but they still replaced it free. cant complain
