stinboy
Now I appreciate I may get a hammering from the taste police for this but here goes... Has anybody tried wrapping the centre of a Top Secret front bumper (in a similar style do what many do with the Do-Luck)? I'm thinking about that and a carbon bonnet could go well - what do we think? Also dor those Do-Luck people who have done this, are there any issues with it tearing/fraying when going over speed bumps etc?
The Raven
I have mine done, No issues as of yet
jacko
Are you planning on an actual carbon wrap, or a carbon effect vinyl?

stinboy
Are you planning on an actual carbon wrap, or a carbon effect vinyl? Probably the vinyl. There are two reasons for me thinking about doing this. First, I quite like the idea. Secondly, I have a couple of hairline cracks which, even though have been repaired, are starting to reappear. The problem is my driveway is sloped and so the underneath of the bumper scrapes on entry and exit. So whatever is toughest I suppose
hodge
You cant get a sheet of carbon vinyl wide enough to cover a bonnet cas ive looked into it. I did my Do-Luck front in carbon and it looks great especially with a carbon bonnet. Be interested in seeing a carboned TS font.

supramkivcork
Hmm I was thinking of the same idea myself. I have the knight racer carbon bonnet and carbon trd spoiler. A chap living within an hour has started doing carbon wraps. Might enquire for price for the hell of it.
supradibbs
something i wished i had never showed people when i did mine (was the first) no i dont have it done as everyone has it, but does look great
j_jza80
Do you mean the whole bumper or the bottom part? Where the Do luck has a centre section that lends itself well to carbon fibre, the Top Secret one is too curvy. I'e either get it repaired, and/or get one of those car-bras. Kopite
I think it'd look too stuck on to be honest, the vertical bits either side of the central mouth would ruin the look as you'd be able to see where the carbon bits were stuck on. It's different on the Do Luck because the mouth is more segregated

SupraJames
I have done the centre on my JUN front with vinyl but am planning on proper CF soon, as have all the materials here, bit time consuming and to get it neat bumper may need re-painting after.
