Made me laugh, lots of memories there! :D

Excellent, Born in 1971 and it all rings so true....Will forward it straight on to plenty of people i know will giggle too...............(And whatever happened to white dog poo???)

Don't remember seeing the 'other' post on white dog poo, but it was because dogs were fed on bones back then, now it's mostly processed food, hence no white poo!

Born in 74. Anybody remember Push-pops? In the U.K., was there/is there a guy who rolls around town in the ever popular "ice-cream truck", commonly referred to in the states as "the ice-cream man" (reference David Lee Roth song)?

Push a push pop....push it for flavooooor...... :D and how about those candy rings? Those were fun

Born 78 and these things ring so true..

Especialy about going out in the morning during school summer holidays and being told either "be in for dinner" or "be home before its dark!"

scary thing is going out without a phone?!?! would never do that now!

Also remember when I knew phone numbers.. can still remember a few of my mates numbers now, but from 10 years ago!

Today I even have to check my mobile for my home number as I never use it.. just pick up the mobile and find "home"!..

going down shop with 20p for penny sweets. Meeting 20 of your mates from school on a sat to play a football match at your local rec or playing cricket. Going on to the heath land by the bay and building a Base on a island to have a stone war and using a boat you found to go out to it...only to find a hole in it ...ahh those were the days.

Or you being stranded on island and having to use a massive boat to get off island...only to get caught by low tide and get stuck on the mud plane, and to shout to your mates on shore to rescue me....so they break into song of 'rescue me...' GGrrrr those were the days!!

God that is so true...even with the first mobile I had in 1988 (Motorola 8000s) which i think only had twenty 'numeric' memories..I would could store about 100 or so numbers in a wonderful gadget known as 'The brain' he he.

Actually I did have a Psion Organiser...but by the time I'd programmed a number and details into it..it also programmed my Brains memory banks...so it was rendered useless and I left it in a phone box somewhere as the battery in my Motorola phone had conked out after just two hours of use!

:D

Actually I dont know when I was born...I cant remember...hang on i'll just check my date of Birth in my Psion organisor...oh shit I cant coz I left it in a phone box somewhere in 1988.
