Bill Prawn
Just recently my car has started to spool up later than usual. Was about 3800rpm now about 4200rpm ish before second turbo kicks in. Car is still as quick but I can certainly notice having to wait for that 'kick'. Any ideas? Full de-cat, restrictor ring, HKS boost controller and apexi kit. None of these items have been recently fitted.
Alex
The gain on the EBC may not be high enough....but I don't know what the HKS setting is for gain and if it will cause a boost spike to up it.

BigRoy
You can try resetting the ecu, it worked on mine, so its worth a try. If that has no effect check for lose hoses
Alex
It could be a tiny hole in a hose...causing some pressure loss but not all. Or it could be the Exhaust Gas Bypass Valve not working well enough anymore.
Scooter
Sounds like its maybe a less severe version of this old problem
supradibbs
severe????? i read it to be a bit of rubber hose as the problem?
Rich
it could be a faulty vsv, damaged hose, faulty actuator or my problem was a broken pressure tank.
