Nice

Don't know what it is about big planes, but you can keep your fighter jets, I think seeing big load carriers is far more impressive . I saw the A380 do a display at Farnborough a couple of years ago, seeing it fly just above stall point was awesome.

My ex-company made parts for that, great sight seeing it fly, I got laid off in August so too late for me :(

Tough time for the industry with tougher to come, good luck for the future ;)

Times are tough at the minute, we do both civilian and military so it is quite a good mix. I think with this as well as the JSF program we should be ok, also there is the A350 coming through soon. I recall you saying some time ago about you making ducting for the A400.

I dont know much about large aircraft, but i was expecting jet engines and not prop.

Its to do with being able to land on un-prepared runways out in the field. A jet engine sucking in dust and rocks etc wont be good for reliability.

I'm no designer though, i just build planes. Did some work on the wings in filton for 9 weeks. I worked on MSN003.
