Suprash
I have configured a Ilo card on a HP device many a time at a previous site, but they have always come with the Ilo card pre-installed into the device, and at boot up you would be prompted (F8) to configure it. However, here we have to install the Ilo cards ourselves, which I done, but now Im not getting prompted at boot up (F8) for the configuration part.... Anyone know what I have to do ? PeteA
Only time I've ever configured ILO on HP servers I've just plugged it into the network, waited for it to get an IP address and looked on the DHCP server to find it then configure it through its web interface - is that an option? Alex
Been a while since I have...DL380G4's were the last ones I did. Have you checked the bios for any management system settings? Like one disabling it.
Suprash
Just to finish this off, it was a DL160 that was using Lights Out 100, Im used to using Ilo2..... Turns out you have to go into the bios and set your IP and stuff in there, got it done in the end though... Thanks guys
