im listened to the Vid now many times :)

Regarding to the very low idle i would asume by the rytm that the ticking noise is coming from a valve , but i can be wrong, does it become worse or better when engine gets warm

how does it sound if you raise the rpms a bit eaxmple to 1000 and 2000?

The low idle is caused by a not cleaned ICV. I´ve to do that next week. Worse or better is a good question ^^ Well if the car is warm and i drive hard it gets a bit worse. And yes: Higher rpms = faster/bit louder noise.

Wen to a garage yesterday, the suggested that it could be a hydraulic valve lifter. But it is nothing serious.

@Terminator Car is bone Stock regarding to engine driveshaft etc.

I,m afraid your garage doesn't know the Supra engine, as it runs solid lifters not hydraulic, i guess it could be a worn cam lobe or shim, but it could also be a stuck or bent valve.

Have you checked your compression? does it misfire at all?

There may be little missfire right before the gearchange when i floor it. Haven´t done a compression test yet.

As long as it isnt something serious its okay.

ps: I´ll do another Video while driving.

as Tricky said , go to the garage and have them to check the compression, a bent valve or worn cam lobe(s) can go hand in hand with low idle also , where in Germany are you located? in Köln i know a guy that is very good in supras
