Animal
I've had impacted lower wisdom teeth for the last 18 months and finally managed to get an appointment to have them sorted. They were pulling the 2 molars in front of the wisdom teeth and I was under IV sedation. I've woke up and I think they've replaced my tongue, too it's all lumpy and doesn't fit in my mouth anymore. All I can do is sit here and dribble blood. Hope nobody rings me up. Gasping for a brew as well...

Chewie
I had mine done while sitting eyes wide open in the dentsit chair. Saw all the blood and giblets. Took 3 hrs because one tooth had a hooked root. And when the anaesthetic wore off ... ARRRRRGGGGGHHHHH!!!!!! It was like banging my head against the wall after it had been clamped in a power press. Thank goodness mine have never come through then! My sister had all four out in one go, and looked like a hamster for days after. I'm sure it stunted her growth too, but she did have a nice cage and a wheel to run on.
pistonbroke
I need to have three of mine out too, I've had one removed already after an abscess, and the opposing side has followed suit. Haven't got the money at the moment, but the random sharp pain attacks are something else. I thought I was going to pass out the other day after a coffee hit the spot
michael
Knowing you are being mangled by some white-coated brute is an awful experience, especially if you then realise how much it's going to hurt later. I had some work done on my head a while ago and it takes a few moments to realise that the warm feeling you have on your face is actually your own blood and the smell filling the room isn't beefy crisps, it's your flesh being electrocauterised. It put me off BBQ for a few hours. I'd rather be put in a coma until it's all healed up TBH.

trebor69
I had a broken top front tooth for years and eventually , as it was unable to take more crowns , i had to have the root removed , as there was nothing above the gum he had to use his "favourites" as he called them ! I remember the nurse passing him this tool , well out of my eyesight , but then i saw it as he prepared for extraction ..... a pair of tin snips with little pins on the end , he put it between my teeth and cut through the gum with the pins gripping the root . I bled for days and lived off oxtail soup for two weeks ! Now that was pain .
