Mike
I should sell mine... I haven't switched it on in about six months. I'm only keeping it so I can watch the bluray boxset of 'Life' at Christmas... I've got 'Yellowstone' too

Jamesy
Just checked the 40GB PS3's on ebay (i thought the lowest was the 80GB) .... ...they are CHEEEEEP - between £100-£150 including games. Is this version really ok? they range from 40gb to 120gb...

Is this version really ok? they range from 40gb to 120gb... It's just the hard drive size.. which is easily upgradable. I would go for one of the older 'backward compatible' ones if I were you... all my old PS2 games are obsolete on mine
Jamesy
Cheers Mike - so the people who go for the 120gb versions is that because they watch loads of films, online gaming etc etc ? All i want is to be able to play Pro Evo and maybe watch the odd dvd !!

Yeah 40GB is fine I used to have that one, you only used the Hard drive to store demos muisc and films, if your just going to be playing games it will be fine

All i want is to be able to play Pro Evo and maybe watch the odd dvd !! The HD is basically because the thing updates itself constantly, and every game you get installs itself partially to the HD (as Bluray is slow to read, so they speed up the data access time by using the HD). The 40Gb model is probably more than enough to be honest. If it was me, I'd go XBox - you can play Pro Evo on that too (and apparently Fifa 10 is much better )

j1mb0b1
I always used to be a pro evo fan but I think Fifa 10 is a lot better than Pro evo this year
