heckler
I have a seat Ibiza as a run-about. The clutch has always been stiff, so I though it best to change the cable. Easy I thought. So I dig the hanyes manual out... Disconnect the cable from the clutch, and from the pedal - easy all I have to do is remove it. I read through the "manual" remove all nuts holding brake/clutch pedal to the bulk head remove dial cluster remove lower trim/glove box undo shear bolts and lower the steering column (using a hammer and chisle) At this point I was thinking WTF?? bit over kill just to change the cable! Also, I then decided to do it my way, so I removed all the trim/scuttle pannel, wiper motor and the pulled though the cable and had it changed within 20 mins. All I can say is whats a stupid stupid design - and what a stupid stupid manual!
