SkyJawa
I wouldn't put stock tubbies on - at least hybrids. TBH - JFDI

Dash Rendar
Can't argue with flawless reasoning like that.
Vaughany
Keep the car, you have the rest of your life to pay off the debts and if they aren't paid off when this happens, not your problem.

MONKEYmark
car starting to take shape now. would be mad not to see the end. sell some of the dear parts you can always buy them back at a later date from america when the us dollar rate hits $9.60 to the pound lol get the car back and keep in storage to you can do it how you want it. is it going to just be a trailer/show car. i know someone who has a older type min he uses for shows. at 1 point he did not have an engine in it. if its a show car it will have to be 100% all the time like the RS boys
how_supra
Yeah pretty much was everyone else has said. Go with the car. You only get one lap round the track and you should follow your heart and not your head. Plus I'm massively curious about how your car will look when done (LOL) So you have to do it for the club! Guest The Flash
To add my tuppence worth - I sold my Supe (I know you are not thinking of selling the car) to fund a house move..... seemed like the best idea at the time.... have spent the past 6 months realising I could have eaten the bloody cake as well and am now buying a Diesel !! Complete the Show Car.... you can never make a wrong decision, as you will never know how the alternatives would have actually panned out
Supragal
Guys guys, I'm not talking about selling the car right now, I'm talking about whether to go with hybrid turbos and supporting engine stuff!!
Digsy
I just don't know what my outgoings are going to be until we're actually moved in and getting bills. I'm erring on the side of caution though and with the horse being sick this year it's been a damn expensive one... the other option is to sell parts of the cinema but I HATE downgrading anything... I could just manage it all perhaps but all it would take would be for something to go bang with the supe, or the horse to create some stupid disease or something in the house to break and then I'm be stuffed. Sounds like a question of priorities to me: House & living, car, horse, car with lots of nice bits, home cinema (in no particular order). Well, outgoings you can have a pretty good stab at pre-calculating if you can spare an evening of scaring yourself 5h1tless and ask a few close friends in similar situations what their bills are, etc. You have to live and eat and have the roof over your head - not much room for compromise there. Horse: Likewise you must have a fairly good idea how much Com costs to keep on all four hooves during a good year and a bad year (like the last one). You can't really just get rid of the poor orange fella, can you? Home cinema: Depends on how you would feel with or without it. Its a hobby (like mine is). Spending has pretty much stopped on that (unless you go out and trial another set of spreakers that Disaster Area would be proud of. ) Your car is, really, another hobby. And you already know how much that is going to cost. As for something going "pop" and landing you with a huge unexpected bill, well, I guess we all kind of live with that hanging over us. I know that I'd be in pretty serious financial trouble if I had a big problem with the car. You can choose to pre-plan for that kind of thing or not. Generally I find that there's not enough money left laying around, and its such a difficult thing to try to predict that it becomes a pointless exercise anyway. That is the part where I say you may as well enjoy spending it on something you can enjoy right now. However, house and horse and some form of car you cannot afford not to have. If it was me I'd be hitting the spreadsheets and tring to work out my cashflow (but you knew that anyway ) Hope you get it sorted out somehow.
