heckler
got emanage fitted with 650 injectors partly mapped. would the mines ecu be a better choice jspec tt auto..??? is the mines ECU just a reprogrammed stock ECU? if it is i doubt it could handle 650's! TT Paul
it is a reprogrammed ecu not sure on the size of injectors it takes
heckler
it is a reprogrammed ecu not sure on the size of injectors it takes well. from my experiance, reprogrammed ECU maps are based on the existing setup, so it can handle 440/550's (as a guess it'll be setup for 440's) Given the option, i'd keep the EMU... Paul Whiffin
You cant remap a Mines to suit I'm afraid. So its Emanage I'm afraid.
Tricky-Ricky
You're far better off with the EMU, it has far more scope for future upgrades, and properly mapped it will also be better. Why are you running 650cc injectors? are you running a single turbo?
TT Paul
650 fitted on recomendation so here they are
Alex
MINES ECU is for stock setup only. And as far as I'm aware Manual's only too.
Dr_Doom
MINES ECU is for stock setup only. And as far as I'm aware Manual's only too. I've got an Auto MINES ECU Running it on a manual though & it works fine
Tricky-Ricky
650 fitted on recomendation so here they are So are you running hybrids or something? unless you are, the 650cc injectors are pointless.
TT Paul
not running hybrids so from what your saying wont get much from them' im fully bpu just after 400bhp last run before emy fitted was 363bhp now its 346bhp as no manu mode ryang could not tune it
Tricky-Ricky
650cc injectors are way too big for BPU, i would Imagen that your not going to get the best from the motor with over spec'd injectors as with smaller pulse width/duty cycle that you're ultimately going to get, You will see less adequate atomisation, i am only running 540cc with a single turbo, admittedly they flow a fair bit more, but i'm limited to just over 500BHP. Ian C
You will see less adequate atomisation I'm not convinced about that, once they are spraying they are atomising as good as they'll get. 650's are a waste of capacity for BPU but they'll run the car just fine, otherwise idling and low speed tootling would be affected on all Supras that run them (or bigger). With 800+cc you might start getting problems due to the pulse width being too short under the light loads and the injectors behaving erratically. But yeah, I wouldn't have fitted 650s just for BPU. -Ian
TT Paul
looks like might be some work to do ie rethink
