AlexM
On here: http://www.blitzsupra.com/ It shows it as a single turbo. Was the spec changed? What is the supposed engine and ecu spec? Interesting car, be fascinated to know just what has been done to it. Lose those awful bloody stickers, or get some commission That seems to be a different car Chris, more information on that one here. Chris Wilson
Is there a spare car in the garage? How many of these have they made? In the video there looks to be a fuel cell in the rear hatch area. Is that still there? Is it still a runner?
JamieP
The one in that video looks a different car, it has black and red graphics when the one Lee has in has got green and gold, i suspect there is a few of these cars about that all claim to be the one that did the 7:49. dude
There is no Supra in the list of cars in the 1st post, it jumps from 7.48 to 7.50.
AlexM
There is no Supra in the list of cars in the 1st post, it jumps from 7.48 to 7.50. The 'fastestlaps' list looks like production cars, wiki list shows the Blitz Supra. This is supposedly the same car on http://mkiv.supras.org.nz.. Thats the car Lee has in by the look of it, in the video you posted of the blitz supra at the ring it looks a different car, also it says January 98 in the video, the one Lee has in is a V reg which is 1999/2000 car. Multics
The wiki article also classifies it as not road legal. Interesting car nontheless, subscribed
Chris Wilson
It's the same with race cars, there are far more Chevron B19 and B16's around than were ever made, some claim the same chassis number
Project Blitz
Ok to clarify a few things; my car is the car that made the Record. Blitz teamed up with Racelogic to create two Blitz Supras. The first the one, they thought would break the record as it was 750bhp but wasn’t able to (that’s the one in the youtube video) lightning stickers in blue and red.. Mine has less power 606bhp but better in putting its power down. This was the car that broke the record. Regarding the dates, well it seems it wasn’t registered until it arrived! Thus the reason it’s a V reg. Imported by RaceLogic so will give them a call. Once I’m done with it (with the help of Lee of course) it’ll be in immaculate condition. Ps. the graphics is staying, what else would differentiate it from any other silver supra? The plan is to revive it to its former glory. Pps. Last owner was provided with a video of the Lap and ¼ drag- he cannot find them but has given me many photos etc. Regards, Ibby Edited January 10, 2010 by Project Blitz (see edit history)
