hodge
Hey guys I'm in the process of sorting out the fuel system and have hit abut of a problem. I'm going to be running a Bosch 044 pump with -8an braided lines. My question is, I can weld a -8an fitting to the top of the pump instead of using the banjo bolt but what about the pipe inside the pump. If I leave that the same size them the fuel will be ristricted inside the pump until it gets out to the -8an line. Sort of like a bottle neck effect in theory. Any advice on the problem would me great. Thanks John
dude
Get a bulkhead fitting and bolt it thru the top of the pump housing, then you will have a male end in -8 to screw the female portion to with -8 hose, I think I still have the short in tank hose from mine. hodge
Ah great cheers Dude. Did you just use the stock return pipe on the top of the pump or did you go bigger.
dude
Ah great cheers Dude. Did you just use the stock return pipe on the top of the pump or did you go bigger. It never hurts to go bigger but my silver car had the stock pipe.
