Tricky-Ricky
After my problems with a malware, i ended up wiping the HD and reinstalling a backup drive image, all is well. However last night i noticed that the resource meter is showing 100% useage on both cores, and after a bit of hunting i have found that the main CPU useage is coming from a works cal exe, and there are two of them running. So went hunting for them and they don't seem to exist in the host folder? is there a way i can track these down and sort this out? or is it something more sinister? help! caseys
Well I'd first kill the tasks off in task manager Then open a dos prompt and type in c: (to get to the root of the drive) then dir *cal.exe /s/p Which will then list through all *cal.exe files in the system, pausing when the screens full. Keep searching till you get the full location then you can delete it. May be more efficient methods out there of hunting it down though
