Max Headroom
Question for you, you go into a coffee shop and you buy two coffees and two meals and go to your table and wait for your order, whilst waiting you look at the price list and realise they took your order for coffee but did not charge you for it, so instead of charging you £13 they only charged you £9. It's quite busy in the shop and there is a queue at the till, what would you do?

SupraD06
Depends on if its someones own buisness or a huge company, if i was in a services and this happened at lets say a Costa Coffee, then i would'nt feel to bad about correcting them, but if it was a tea and coffee van in the town ran by some old dear, then i would go pay the difference
Pete
Depends on the shop. I'd feel more inclined for a small independent than a large corporate. This morning I got a free coffee and hash brown from McDonalds.
michael
I had a similar thing happen recently, awful service at a restaurant / bar - no waitress turned up so I went to the bar myself to order drinks and ask about ordering food. Was told it was waitress service and they would be over soon. Took drinks and arranged to set a tab up. Had food (eventually) and got bill, drinks weren't charged. In my view I did all that was necessary to provide them with the opportunity to charge me and their poor service let them down. They punished themselves and automatically knocked something off my bill IMO. In your case it sounds like they just screwed up... but again this is a sign of poor staff ability and they need to be punished so they can improve their systems / training / recruitment process. Maybe.
TopgunTT
Again if it's one of the big coffee chains just sit back and enjoy, However if it was a family run coffee shop i would of let them know
Ewen
This is deep. By giving your business to the larger chains, you are helping to put the smaller ones out of business, yet are happy to do the larger ones out of a bit of profit when they get the bill wrong rather than travel further afield to find a smaller outlet and help support their business in the first place. What kind of devious, pre-planning, main-chance grabbing people are you.
Max Headroom
The question is about whether in this day and age, whatever the circumstances are you morally honest. The answers given show the way
