Leeds - Still hunting for a decent garage

I'm still struggling to find a Supra friendly, reliable mechanic in the Leeds area - it doesn't have to be a specialist just a good mechanic that you can take the car to when you really can't be bothered to go out in the cold to do the easy stuff like oil changes and brake pads etc.... (garages that let you supply your own parts are essential)

I know most of the people around here are too tight to get the work done but I'm lazy, my driveway is at a crazy angle and my garage is too narrow :(

Any recommendations would be appreciated, I don't want to risk letting a monkey loose on the car and am fed up with driving up to my trusted chap in the dales now. I'm happy to take a day off work to drive a few extra miles if necessary but would prefer to avoid anything beyond 50 miles each way as fuel costs then increases the burden on my wallet :)

Toyota aren't an option.

(PS: Yes I know I'm really idle, I like buying tools, I just don't enjoy using them)

There is a place called ART in wakefield, run by a friendly bloke called Tony. Little backstreet turbo specialist with rolling road. Knows what he is talking about and has done work for me in the past.

Will fit your parts for you, works of very high standard and he is pretty cheep.

I would say try him

When i was at Uni in Leeds there was a guy in Headingley (off Otley road).... sorry this is no help but i will try remembering the roads name. I mention him because he always used to have some sort of modded motor in there. Very friendly chaps.... might be on Meanwood road although shaw lane rings a bell!

If i remember i'll post it up.... *fires up multimap*

Indeed it would, give him a go i dont think you will be dissapointed

Called him this morning (not the best telephone skills but I can live with that) and he's really busy (a good sign) - can't fit me in until next Wednesday (18th).

Need to have a think about getting it done sooner, I only have the works van for a limited time :(

He is ALWAYS busy, like you have just found out for yourself, he is not the best talker in the world but is fine once he knows you.
