JS2004
Do they really work? http://www.monzacarcare.com/products/?category_id=6311&search_mode=view_item&product_id=2046&start=0&search_term=Enter%20search%20term Spent a few hours yesterday cleaning and rewaxing to help protect the paint during the harsh weather but the youtube vids attached to this nanolex stuff looks interesting.. From what im reading there it looks like once you have sealed it with this stuff it requires minimal upkeep.. What it looks like is that its acting in the same way a wax does. Anyone tried this stuff ? im tempted
tony tt
Looks interesting right enough! Good find bud.

Chances are if I bought it and did seal the cars paint id just be stood there pouring water over it saying "oooo" lol Well maybe for the first 5 mins.. till I get bored

marcAB10
I've had my car Nanolex'd by one of my mates ( he's a detailer ) and it was pretty awesome, it did last around 6 months.
dan294
I've got a G-techniq paint sealant on mine, been on 3 months and still looks mint. It's expensive though!
dan294
Collinite Insulator wax 845 is also very good, and it's dirt cheap, should last a good 6 months. Did my mums brand new Fiat 500 with it a month ago, still beading water well.
davis6110
This stuff looks brilliant and if it lasts as long as they say then it aint that expensive ? they do a full kit for £50 so if that lasts even 3 months that saves me spending £20 most weeks on on cleaning products
TubbyTwo
Look at Wolfs Bodywrap as well. I use this its amazing stuff.
Golfpro
The Nanolex windscreen treatment is also a good product. Super cool to drive in the lashing rain without having to turn on the wipers.

TubbyTwo
give the car a good wash, clay polish and IPA wipedown for the best results.

TubbyTwo
i have 2 super gaurd packs thats the same sort of stuff right usually includes inside and outside treatments. Its ok, but there are better out there. Its the stuff dealers buy in for £60 and charge £300+ to apply to a car, poorly as well from previous efforts I have seen! Key to getting any of these Nano sealants to work to their best is preperation although there are a few that can be applied to a wet car with a wash mitt directly after washing. Such as this one: http://www.nanotechsst.co.uk/permanon-car-supershine-brilliant-kit-100ml-p-392.html Well worth a look, you mix the little bottle with water, spray on the panel and wipe off, that simple. creative
That is cool in the petri dish! Showed the missus and the first thing she said was "it's flubber!" then promptly switched off when I said it was for cars....
pbryant_knight
Wow, i'd love some of that stuff. may be worth investing in in the future

TokyoRich
We used to use something called polylack (or soemthing like that) in Japan before we sent the cars over to the UK auctions. Generally we used to mop them first then finish off with polylack the finish was incredible.. I have been looking for something similar for years but cannot seem to find anything quite as good.. maybe worth trying this stuff.
Jellybean
I use the Chemical Guys Black light, excellent price and value ; I might try Cquartz next but as with anything Prep is the key
TubbyTwo
Blacklight is fantastic stuff Down to personal preference I guess, some people prefer the traditional sealants and waxes, others like the nano sealants. I like a bit of both!
