Mike
So I've had the game since release and it all installed no problem. I've been playing it on and off for a while.. not massive long sessions, but a good few hours with no problems. Recently it's been try to load specific tracks, the usual one being Iberian Mini (any of the 'mini' tracks for that matter) and at first it would just take an age to load and then report a problem reading the disc. I would clean the disc, reboot the box and it would work. Now it's started doing the strangest thing. When the track loads all of the graphics are screwed. The track is muti-coloured in some parts and black (no texture) in others. Most of the surrounding track areas are blocky and look completely corrupted. The actual racing in the game is completely uneffected and you can play the game as normal (just pretend you're on acid). I've deleted all of the installed content and reinstalled, but still the same problem. The thing that's bugging me is if this happened on other games I could justify it as the XBox getting old and about to croak.. but I've cained COD6 and it's never missed a beat. I could take the disc back, but on this very rare occasion I don't seem to have stuck the receipt in the game box as I usually do. I've Googled the problem but can't find anything even remotely like it. Anyway, it looks like this; Anyone heard of this?

DamanC
Mike in the PC world its something very similar to artefacts on a GPU, but thats not your issue. The game is struggling to load the missing bits, because of the beauty of error correction the game appears to run fine. Issue is unfortunately down to reading the disk, it could be the laser, unlikely as you have cained the sh*t out of COD or most likely the disk. Try giving the drive a clean, it could be the head has to move to a certain area of the disk that it isnt on other games. I would be trying another disk tbh and then see about disk correction. Mike
It was me being a dick.. on *very* closer inspection there was a tiny scratch on the disc.. after frantically rubbing it with the sleeve of my cardy, it worked! Hurrah! I just recently got 'back into peanut butter'.. the next frontier is the peanut butter and jam I'll be checking it out tonight over more Forza Without sounding too much like Jazz I have possibly the sickest Supra and Tuscan S evvaa!1!! Literally all I have done is get these cars to R3 level. They rock. I beat a bunch of Ferraris and Lambos round the ring last night in my old beater
