UK Gaming Computers

I have waited 12 months for this day :woot:

The UK Gaming Computers website is now finally finished.

http://www.ukgamingcomputers.co.uk/images/normal2small.jpg

A few of you have already seen the site, and have in fact made purchases during its development stage, well now is the time to officially announce it.

We have been been trading for a year now and has seen a lot of blood and tears invested by myself to make this happen. I quit my contracting and basically gave up my life to see this through.

Without the site 100% it meant sales and management were extremely hard to keep up with, now I hope 90 hour weeks are now a thing of the past.

So, feel free to have a look around and let me know what you think. If you find a fault, please PM me, I would appreciate it :)

How long does it take?

Next day! When your build has been finished we will contact you to arrange a suitable delivery date that is convenient with you.

Err... either it's next day or it's after you've finished building it, which could take how long?

Do we get a discount?

Zeus for Athena prices?

Do you have good security at the address given on the website? I'd be a bit concerned about advertising all that lovely stuff with an exact address.

Free shipping for MKIV members :)

Security has been taken care of. :hunter:

You need larger pictures. Nothing more annoying that clicking on a picture to be presented with a 'larger' version which is either the same size or a couple of % bigger.

Lee, where are the couple of % bigger pictures?

On the subject of pictures, I think shots of the actual builds (or an average of each) would be a huge improvement over the standard OEM case shots you are using at the moment.

Gallery coming soon. They will also be integrated into each product too.

Changed, thanks :)

cool, blue neon's and hyped up hardware. somebody hard my credit card.

Nice looking site, has it got a twitter account yet to offer deals and updates?

Not yet, we have a facebook group although it hasnt been updated in a while. Twitter will probably arrive in the new year.

And finally, I can't see any details of the 5 year interest free or the buy now pay 2014 finance options. :p

We are looking at by now pay in 2055 options but for the time being its something we are probably going to leave for the new year.

The Chronos looks like just what I'm thinking of, not til the new year though.

Tis a nice rig. We have a couple sat on test bench right now. :)

Great site :) well done!

What is the cheapest machine you offer that could comfortably run Crysis? :)

Thanks Mike :) I am a very happy person today.

Believe it or not the Hemera - Custom Gaming PC will run Crysis but it does get choppy when things become a little busy in game.

The Metis - Custom Gaming PC with a GTX260 will run Crysis at an acceptable frame rate.

"Future Proof"

How far into the future? Do I get my money back if someone brings out a new product that isn't compatible?

Good question. As foreseeably possible would be the official answer. All motherboards for each machine are spec'd with upgrade potential in mind, hence why there are rather a large amount of upgrades for each PC, except the Zeus :D

I may have been exaggerating slightly there. :innocent: But I do prefer 'larger' pictures which completely fill the screen so I can see as much detail as possible.

Gotcha :D The images are scaled down slightly so that people with smaller resolutions can see the entire popup. They also have to fit into the info popup windows. Its something I feel should be bigger, but cannot due to the smaller resolution visitors.

Sounds like you could do with a volunteer to do some real world testing for you. I can PM you my address to send one to?

If you own a computer related site and would be happy to publish your findings with a link to us we are more than happy to send you a machine to test. You will need to send it back though ;)

He missed the sales enquiry...

You got a lot to learn Daman :D

Addressed ;)

You can have a link on the lightbox which just opens the largest image you have in a new window and let the browser worry about resizing it to fit.
